Disaster Preparedness / Education / Recovery
Neighbors First is Palm Beach County C.E.R.T. (Community Emergency Response Team) certified, and a member of the Palm Beach County Disaster Recovery Coalition. We help with pre-disaster plans and evaluations. We offer opportunities for training and education related to disasters. We are also there in the aftermath, offering assistance, and finding needed resources to help in the recovery process.
We strive to bring people with different abilities and resources together to serve their community, not only for disasters, but for the everyday needs of the areas that surround us. There are many different opportunities to serve.
